Summer Staff Led Rides
A series of free Led Rides with Andy Stowe, Cycling Officer at SMBC, will give you the opportunity try an e-bike and explore the local area. Andy is an experienced ride leader and will demonstrate the functions of the e-bikes before taking the group on rides. There are various destinations that will cater for all confidence levels, local parks and longer rides to beautiful Earlswood Lakes or Elmdon Park.
26th June Tudor Grange Park
10th July Earlswood Lakes
17th July Malvern & Brueton Park
31st July Elmdon Park
The rides will last for around an hour and distance will be decided based on confidence of the group.
All rides will leave from Council House Basement Car Park where the bike cages are located, and staff should aim to meet there at 4.00pm.
6 adult electric bikes of varying sizes are available for these sessions, or you are welcome to bring your own bike (pedal or electric). You will need to wear a helmet so please bring your own or we have some available to borrow.
The rides are a great way to experience riding as e-bike and develop your cycling skills, meet new people and improve your mental and physical wellbeing.
